I'm thrilled to be going into my 4th year with EUSOG, especially with this fabulous committee by my side. I have experienced the joyous, passionate community this society creates both on and offstage and I can't imagine my time at university without it. As President 2026/7 I can't wait to welcome more people to the wonderfully wacky world of EUSOG, put on some spectacular shows, and make more fantastic memories along the way. Hail poetry!

This will be my third year in EUSOG, and I can confidently say I've never made a better decision! This society is like a family to me; everyone who I have met through it are the most kind-hearted and talented individuals, and I feel very lucky to be in their company on and off stage! This is my second year in EUSOG, I have done 2 shows with them so far as well as being Co-Social Sec on committee last year! EUSOG is such a special society, it’s a place where I have met some of my closest friends and gained some of my most treasured memories. Being secretary this year gives me a chance to give back to this society (as well as putting my producing skills to good use…), I’m excited to help the society and it’s members grow alongside my wonderful friends which is this years committee!

Hi, I’m Gemma and I’ve done so many shows with the society that the L in EUSOG stands for Leach! I love budgets, money and making paper aeroplanes out of tax returns, so I’m very excited to be treasurer this year. When not tap dancing across the meadows or writing fan mail to Andrew Lloyd Webber, I compete nationally as a charcuterie board preparer, winning Best Salami at the championships this year. Cannot wait for another amazing year for EUSOG!

Being a part of EUSOG over the past year has been the most rewarding experience. Over the past year, I have had the thrill of being on the prod teams of ‘Into The Woods’, ‘Ruddigore’ and ‘Rent’. It has been a complete and unforgettable joy. Being a part of the creative energy that comes with putting a great show together has been incredibly fulfilling and I cannot wait to bring this love of the theatre community to the EUSOG committee!

Hi!! I’m Julie and I’m glad to be EUSOG’s co-social-sec for the year 26/27!!! I’ve loved my time with EUSOG so far and I can’t wait for next year! Being from Switzerland and not knowing much about Edinburgh and the Uni itself, EUSOG gave me the best welcome possible and I’m so grateful for that:)) After Singin’ in the Rain and Ruddigore, I can’t wait to be behind the scenes of anything EUSOG’s working on!!

I am thrilled to be part of EUSOG Committee this year! Having done theatre all my life, I am delighted to be continuing this at uni, and discovering many more musicals (my cat will be glad I'm no longer belting Santa Fe around the house too!). I've made sure to practice my cupboard-sorting skills at home on my very messy wardrobe, and am overjoyed to be working with the other fabulous committee members this year!
